I have been photographing Children for about 6 years now. There is something about the curiosity in them that fascinates me. 9 out of 10 times I photograph Children that is relatively shy at first and as the minutes go by, they realize that I am there to make silly faces, chase them around and play some crazy games with them.

But why do I have this big black camera in their faces the whole time? Well that’s when I show them what’s on the back of the camera. Almost 100% percent of the time this relaxes the Children, and even encourage them to “perform” a little for me. I want Children to show me their personality. I want them to jump and twirl and laugh out loud, I want to capture YOUR child’s unique personality.

I love Children, for some reason running around after a toddler, or crawling on the ground with a 1 year old is so much more rewarding than you can imagine. Getting a giggle that’s so pure, so real and then seeing a parent’s face when I show them a preview or receiving an email with a thank you, thank you for giving them images that will forever be cherished. Those are some of the reason’s I LOVE what I do.
