Remember that time I photographed an engagement session in 10 minutes in Maui? Yeah um it was awesome. There is so so much that can be said about this gorgeous couple.

They were such a pleasure to work with. Tricia is a friend of mine and when she asked me to photograph them in Maui, I got all giddy. Who doesn’t want to shoot in Maui right?

I do NOT normally shoot in only 10 minutes. This day was absolutely crazy and everything that could go wrong while traveling pretty much went wrong and I ended up only having a few minutes until dark to shoot. The weather forecast for the week was absolutely dreary and I wanted to make sure I get some shots of sunshine in Paradise before the rain came.

Clint and Tricia I can not thank you enough for a wonderful experience. No rain, wind, mudslide or floods could stop us from capturing your love for each other. Hold on tight to each other because what you have is special.

Some of you might recognize Tera from earlier posts. Tera is my good friend and neighbor. These Images were taken right after Seth returned from Afghanistan. We celebrated his birthday and homecoming by making a trip to Portland and Cannon Beach, OR.

What a crazy photo session. I had to climb down a mountain to get to the beach to shoot the last 15 minutes before the sun set. This is the first time I shoot so close to the water during sunset and it was bright. I love the warm tones we got and the experience was definitely one to remember. Here are a few of my favorites.

Thank you Tera and Seth for being such good friends. Hopefully we can make a trip to Cannon beach again soon.

These Images I took a little over a year ago in Louisiana. We used to live in Fort Polk, LA for about 8 months, and I have to admit the first few months I just wanted to get out of there, but Louisiana and it’s people grew on me. So much so, that I miss those days.

Jeremy and Natasha wanted some pictures done, and we did a “Trash the dress” without the trashing of the dress. So maybe it’s a day after session. Also not really because when these Images were taken, they have  already been married for over a year. I guess this session can’t really be labeled. The only thing I can say about this day is, these two were great. They were so willing to do whatever I told them to. I have sweet memories of them.

Ps. I almost forgot to mention. This was my first session with a Tilt-Shift. I also never used it again after this, until  now. #Weird.
