I had such a blast photographing this family. I was excited to go shoot on Mercer Island as I have never been there before. It was a gorgeous day to photograph and I am so happy to have met the B family. Both girls were really a dream to work with. They have the most gorgeous smiles and are happy kids.

I love this family. I am almost ashamed to say that I dragged them across a big grass field to take these Images. I adore these so much. Cheryl and Moaka are amazing parents. So calm and understanding its amazing. I feel so lucky that they trusted me enough to document not only their Maternity session but also the Newborn session. I love love love natural settings for both Maternity and Newborn.

I don’t get to photograph boys all that often, so when I booked this session I was extra excited.. until the rain showed up. The session was cancelled, then on again, cancelled again and finally on again. I drove to our location and it was POURING rain, poor Kim was so nervous that we won’t be able to go out to shoot since I was leaving the next morning.

Rain boots on, out the door we went. I am usually completely out of my comfort zone when I see rain clouds, but I think this session turned out just gorgeous. Thank you Kim and Cohen for waiting out the rain with me and giving me complete freedom with this session. You guys are great!
