This was my first visit to Seattle. Yes yes I know, i’ve lived in Tacoma for over two months now, and I have not had the chance to go “sight seeing” in this beautiful city. This particular day was probably not the best for sight seeing as it was very cold and rainy. But we had a special reason to go. Rensche my friend from South Africa was here. She attended a Mentor session with Sarah Rhoads and visited with me for about 2 weeks. I enjoyed having a friend here. Rensche and I know each other from Stellenbosch University. Back in the day when I was convinced Law was for me. Needless to say we both ended up studying Photography and absolutely love our jobs today.

We were pretty excited about the trip to Seattle and honestly hoped for the weather to  give us a break to explore a bit of Pike Place Market.   Here are a few images taken on that rainy Sunday afternoon.
